FAQ's

Q. Can you dye custom colours?

Unfortunately, we are unable to dye custom colours on single skeins due to high demand and because mosrt colourways are OOAK's (one of a kind), however if you require 6-10 skeins in one particular colourway, please feel free to get in touch with us and we'll make every effort to dye you a custom batch.

Q. Are you environmentally friendly?

The Yarn & Fibre: Easyknits.co.uk is opposed to the practice of mulesing, and as such have ensured that our suppliers provide us with mulesing free yarns . All of our yarn is sourced from the UK and South America.
The dye Process: We use non-toxic acid dyes here at Easyknits.co.uk. Our dye process has very little waste at all, and all of the dyes are exhausted into yarns before any water is poured away. We use food grade citric acid as setting agent, and rinse with a non-toxic detergent, to maintain a low impact on the environment.

Q. How do I pay for my yarn?

Payments can be processed through PayPal  or Shopify:

Paypal is a safe and reliable payment provider. You do not need a PayPal account. Simply follow the instructions at checkout.

Shopify has it's own payment gateway which is both secure and reliable.

Q. What if I am unhappy with my purchase?

If you’re not happy, let us know. If you’ve changed your mind, just send back the yarn/fibre (within 10 days of receipt) and we will refund you. You will need to pay for the return postage. The product must be in saleable condition. If there’s something wrong with the product, we will happily exchange it.

Q. How are my items shipped?

All Easyknits.co.uk products are sent by standard international postage from The Canary Islands, usually the next day. Postage is currently set at a flat rate. We will let you know when your order has been dispatched via email. Shipping is based on weight, and if you're thinking of ordering a large amount of yarn, it could be advisable to contact us directly as we may be able to work out a lower cost shipping option.

Q. Will I pay import duty on my parcel?

All parcels are now sent from the Canary Islands, although part of Spain, the islands are considered a 'territory' and therefore have their own tax and import/export rules. Currently any parcels we have sent to the rest of Europe have not incurred import charges, however this does not mean it is not possible that they could incur charges. We will continue to monitor this situation and update this page accordingly once we know more.

Q. Do you combine shipping for multiple orders?

If a second order is placed before the first is shipped then of course we will combine and refund the difference in postage.
